Okay, so this is not a typical Newgrounds news post, but I figured I could use any exposure I can get about this.

So! If you follow my comic you might know that I'll be leaving for a trip to america in about 2 months (I still need places to stay so if you'd like to host me, please shoot me a message!), and I need someone to take over my apartment for the two months that I'm gone.

So, here's some information: My flat is for rent from the 26th of august to the 28th of october, since I'll be leaving for America!
It's about 58m², lies in Borgerhout, close to Antwerp city centre, right in between Berchem station and Antwerp central station (about a 15 minute walk from either of them), less than 100m to a tram or bus station. It has one bedroom with a two-person bed, one diningroom, one kitchen, one bathroom with a toilet in a seperate room next to it, and one livingroom/work studio. It has a lot of sun in the afternoon, lies in a calm one-way street and is well insulated.

Guyyyssss, I finished my Sketchswap Contest Submission!
It was actually one of the few instances that I worked on an image and never really had an "oh my Darwin this looks like fucking mush I should set it on fire and start over"-moment. I tried a technique I'd never tried before and I'm really quite happy with how it looks. It's a little plastic-y and I don't think I would use that kind of colouring in everything I do, but it does give it the American comicbook-style I was going for.

Oh man, I've been drawing comics for this thing for over two years now, and today the site has finally gone live. Needless to say 95% of the previously drawn things are very outdated and won't get uploaded, but there's more where that came from.

So yeah, it was. The weather was great, the people were fun, the art was nice. I only sold one T-shirt, but I got a lot of people interested in what I do and flipping through my sketchbooks, which was cool. In all honesty though, I haven't had such extended social contact with so many people on one day for a long time, and I have a feeling I'm still mentally tired from it. But it was a nice experience, certainly. I've uploaded a few sketches and things in my art thread.

Like the title says, I could. For the first time ever I went to a bar alone to make some sketches of teh peoples and teh music. Sounds a bit lame, maybe, but it was a lot of fun drawing to good music. Also, hot chocolate, tea and classic rock make a good mix.
